because my name is hella crappy i didn’t want to tell it to shinee so, at first, i asked not to write my name but jjong was like: “then what would you like me to write?” but suddenly my mind went black so i just asked him to write my actual name. while he was writing it i wanted to tell him i’ve gotten a lot of comfort from blue night but, when i got as far as mentioning blue night, i suddenly burst into tears. jjong got flustered and asked: “why are you crying?” and the manager was telling me to move along so i just left and, while i was crying and waiting in jinki’s line, i briefly made eye contact with jjong and he mouthed “don’t cry”. even while i was getting jinki’s autograph jjong poked me in the arm when he had a break (in his line) and told me not to cry. i was seriously having a mental breakdown so i couldn’t tell shinee anything i’d planned to say and went back to my seat and was waiting then jjong wrote something and a staff member brought over this note from him. even though i wasn’t crying because of my name, i was actually crying because of shinee. it’s embarrassing but it felt like all the times i’d been hurt because of my name were being healed.
the note reads: “don’t cry. it’s a pretty name. it’s the other people who are foolish. you’re incredible.” (source: sullaem via dc gallery)
(death tw) it has been confirmed that jonghyun’s funeral procession will begin on december 21st at 9am kst. onew, key, minho and taemin are listed as the chief mourners for the funeral hall service (along with his close relatives). they will be taking the traditional place of the biological / step-brother or father normally reserved for this position. please remember that shinee are also his brothers though so this is suiting, albeit tradition. More than a month ago, I was cordially invited by UNIQLO (yes, you got
that right - UNIQLO!) to their Fall
Winter 2017 Press Preview despite the heavy rains that time because seriously,
who would deny such a once in a lifetime (hopefully not) offer? They personally
messaged me on Twitter asking if I would be interested to attend and without thinking
twice, I confirmed my attendance. Last July 27, I was a witness to the
many UNIQLO collections
that were yet to be released nationwide.
There were Japanese scientists who work for UNIQLO present and they actually flew all the way from Japan
to show the magic behind the AIRism products! In this station, they presented the differences between the material of
an AIRism shirt from one made out of cotton. If you want to go for thin, quick drying
tops, make your way to the AIRism aisle the next time you visit UNIQLO!
In the photo above, UNIQLO prides in
their Ultra Light Down products. By hanging their compact ULD jacket on a balloon, it
shows the true balance of lightness compared to other ULDs. This is a perfect
travel essential, especially if you have plans on going to extremely cold
places.
The HEATTECH items
are something to watch out for! They feature three different types of warmth and
it’s sure to give you the right amount of heat you’re looking for. It is
another travel essential to take note of.
Meanwhile, UNIQLO offers a wide array of premium jeans that are innovated to its highest quality. They
proudly boast of their Kaihara denim that has an authentic Japanese touch which
can be found in their Boyfriend Fit, Ultra Stretch, Selvedge, and a whole lot
more. Their latest bottoms would be the EZY jeans that is a fusion of sweats and
denim which can already be found in UNIQLO stores.
The photos below show the different collections UNIQLO has to offer
with their various clothing and items. Ranging from casual everyday wear to
sports gear, they are sure to keep your closet packed this season.
Last but not the
least, the most awaited collections this F/W season include Ines De La
Fressange, JW Anderson, and UNIQLO U! The Ines De La Fressange collection was
released last September 1 so if you have not checked it out yet, I suggest you
do now because they have a men’s line as well! JW Anderson is coming next with
its release date set on September 22, and UNIQLO U on October 6. Take a look at
the pieces below!
It wouldn’t be complete without a fashion runway, of course! The models
graced the platform in their UNIQLO attires that
were mixed and matched. Even Ms. Pia Wurtzbach was there as an ambassador to
support the brand and was also donned in UNIQLO clothes from
head to toe. COO Katsumi Kubota gave a message before the runway program and
clips of designers who collaborated with UNIQLO were shown on
the screens.
They aired this in StarWorld I think, because I saw a short video about
this event on that channel! (I even saw myself, hihi.) Anyway, again, I would
like to thank UNIQLO for inviting
me because really, it’s a dream come true. My love for this fashion retailer
will never expire, ever. I had such a wonderful time going through the
collections and I hope you, my YUNIKOKOROS, will love them too! More power to
this Japanese brand, they forever have my support ♥ Make sure to visit their
stores and see their latest items!
